ONE REASON / DEFIANCE, OHIO Defiance, Ohio contributes two songs, a new version of "A Song About Promises" from their demo, this time sung by BZ, and one completely new song titled "Sometimes Motion!" They recorded in Bloomington, IN with their friend Greg. One Reason contributes "Dirge for 95 & 10" and "Sorry, Irma Thomas" recorded at The Living Room with Chris George. The best vinyl in my personal collection. |

PRETTY HOT / GHOST MICE this CD is amazing. chris says it's some of ghost mice's best work, and i agree. five brand new songs by ghost mice, plus a cover of fifteen's "petroleum distillation." pretty hot are mind-blowinly good, and have evolved way past the demo cdr's you might have heard. pretty hot puts forth three redone songs from the demos and three all new ones that are so good you might go deaf. be careful. |

OPERATION: CLIFF CLAVIN / THE MAX LEVINE ENSEMBLE this record was released by 60 different people. it was an effort to express the co-op nature of the DIY scene and get everyone involved. there were a lot of problems with this record on the OPCC end. at last we got it done after lost masters, drum tracks getting eaten by the computer and the plant sending us the wrong test pressing. here it is. all new songs by each band, cool colored vinyl, a sticker and insert. this is a benefit for the BLOOMINGTON BIKE PROJECT. all profits (100%) go to them. Sorry, this album is no longer available through Anti-Creative. however, do some searching and you might find one of the other people who helped release it that still has copies. |
